One of our Drone Teams were up on Shetland last week. Having set off from home at 5 am on Tuesday morning and catching a flight from Aberdeen, the views that awaited them were certainly worth it.
We had a number of sites to survey throughout the island, before heading to the Outer Hebrides on the journey home. The weather was, for once, on our side and we had a successful trip.
The improved 4G service on Shetland allowed the surveyors to send over the photographs simultaneously, allowing our Admin Team to be drafting the reports, ready to be checked and sent ASAP. The improvements in connectivity throughout Scotland and beyond have allowed us to drastically reduce the time between survey and report submission.
